The Spring Pastel Edit

New Look t-shirt | Vero Moda skirt | Monki dress | Forever21 bag | Uniqlo shirt | Monki cami

Despite of my usually very dark and muted colour-wardrobe, I have been really liking pastels at the moment! It just gives a very springy pop of colour and put together with the rights things, I can avoid feeling like an easter egg. I have put together a few pastel items that I am loving and a few ideas on how I would style them to tone the look down a bit, and make it a little more 'me'.

Monki cami | Topshop jeans | ASOS hat | New Look sandals | Marc by Marc Jacobs watch | ASOS rings | Chloé necklace | Scotch & Soda necklace
Uniqlo shirt | F&F jeans | Louboutin shoes | Kate Spade bag | Essie 'romper room' nail polish | David Yurman ring
Monki dress | H&M jacket | Forever21 bag | Ray-Ban sunglasses | DV by Dolce Vita boots
New Look t-shirt | Topshop shorts | Vans shoes | ASOS bandana | Céline sunglasses
Mango t-shirt | Vero Moda skirt | Monki blazer | Topshop shoes | Forever21 bag | Alexander McQueen sunglasses

I hope you enjoyed this post! Are you rocking pastels for spring? xxx

Outfit | A Windy Affair

Vintage jacket | Monki dress | Monki bag | Adidas sneakers
I cannot even begin to explain how windy it was when these pictures were taken, hence the crazy hair - and keep in mind these were the pictures where my hair was the least crazy and I wasn't making funny faces because of the wind. Jeez. I took these pictures last week with Rikke from The Style Clash, after a Starbucks and a good chat and maybe some shopping. Both the dress and the bag was featured in my haul post, but the sneakers are newbies as well, and boy do I love 'em. They are super duper comfy and the pink accents makes them perfect for spring, in my opinion. They sure have been solidly planted on my feet the past weeks!

I hope you're all doing well! Let me know what you think below in the comments xx

Outfit | Stripes and Sushi

Topshop jacket | Monki t-shirt | Gina Tricot necklace | New Look jeans | Boots from a local store
I have a different outfit post for you to day in the sense that I've got a few extra pictures to share with you! The outfit is from yesterday, where I went to my friend Sisse (from Rags&Records)'s house and then out for lunch with a few of our uni mates. We went for sushi, and we ate until we could barely walk, it was very delicious. I kind of have a slight obsession with striped tops, I seem to buy more and more, and this newly added one from Monki is so slouchy and comfortable and definitely my new favourite t-shirt!

I hope you enjoyed this post! xx

Handbag Essentials

I am usually that person who brings along a bag that is way too big and stuffs it with things I don't need, only to get tired of carrying it around after approximately 5 minutes. I have decided to change that, so from now on I'm going to try to only bring my new bag from Monki when going out for the day, and I thought I'd share what I bring with me.

- Purse/Wallet (mine is fairtrade leather from Ferrici)
- Handcream
- iPod
- A compact mirror
- Chewing gum
- iPhone
- Sunglasses (Ray-Ban aviator)
- Whatever lip-product I'm using that day (currently MAC 'Peach Blossom')

I hope you liked this post! What are your handbag essentials? xx

Trend Spotting #3 | Sports Luxe

Emilio Pucci | Marc by Marc Jacobs | Alexander Wang | Tommy Hilfiger
Trend numero tres in my little trend spotting-shenanigan is titled Sports Luxe. Inspiration was ripped from the world of sports at the SS14 fashion shows, and the trend is everywhere in street style at the moment. Think mesh fabric, slip-on trainers and gym shorts. Pairing a sporty element with a smarter item can look extremely chic and very effortlessly cool. My own personal favourite thing about this trend is pairing trainers with dresses and more sporty-esque tops with jeans.

Here are a few affordable pieces to make you a proper sporty spice this season:
H&M shorts | Boohoo shirt | River Island bomber jacket | Own The Runway crop top |  ASOS slip-ons

I hope you enjoyed this post! Will you be rocking the sports luxe look? xx

A Well Deserved Haul

New Look (via ASOS) sandals
ASOS boyfriend crop tee
Monki striped dress
Monki striped tee
Monki flannel shirt
H&M sweatshirt
Monki bag
L'Oreal Studio Line #TXT Volume texturising spray
MAC lipstick in 'Peach Blossom'

Okay, the title of this post might be a tiiiiiny bit misleading, as I always think I deserve new clothes. HOWEVER, I did just finish to midterm exams in a row last week, and I got my paycheck yesterday, so I think a good shopping spree can be justified......right? I placed a cheeky order on ASOS for the sandals and the crop top last week, the (kind of tacky but also sort of cool????) H&M sweatshirt I got with my friend Sisse last weekend, as I mentioned in THIS post, and the rest I picked up on a shopping trip yesterday! I am particularly excited about the MAC lipstick, as I have been umm-ing and aah-ing over it for so long, thanks to Anna from Vivianna Does Makeup, but now I finally bought it! The perfect colour for spring and summer! I really love everything I've gotten and I cannot wait to style all the pieces for spring and summer outfit posts! I may or may not also have placed an order on a new pair of sneakers yesterday, but that's another story........

Hope you liked this post, as it's my first haul post! Have you gotten anything exciting lately? xx
